Over eight decades ago when the Country was ruled under the British regime and total disarray was the state of the day, there was a gentleman, accompanied by his spouse, treading an unbeaten path nourishing unusual dreams... working extra ordinarily hard, to realises them.
Late J. V. alias Baburao Joshi, along with his wife Malatibai was struggling to see his state, his country bathe in the divine light of literacy and knowledge...
The Mission
The western coastal strip of Maharashtra popularly known as Konkan is bestowed with natural beauty in abundance. The scenic beauty however is shadowed by illiteracy and poverty. The poverty stricken society of Konkan needs uplift which is possible only through education.
The Vision
A separate Institute of management studies should be started to cater to the ever-expanding needs of the industry.
